Each class will start with an open footwork combination (shine) and continue to a partnerwork combination. The shines portion of the class is a great way to improve balance, timing, speed and coordination and will start you on your way to being able to be creative when your partner lets go of you on the social dance floor. In the partnerwork section, increasing emphasis is placed on style and musicality as we work on more complex turn patterns and techniques. An intermediate version of the partnerwork will be taught first and then we will work on adding elements to the combination to make it more advanced helping you take your dancing to the next level. Must have completed an LA Salsa ON 1 Beginner series parts 1, 2 & 3 or have instructor permission. No partner required. | |
